there are few things worse than picking up a cup of coffee that you think is a few hours old, only to realize it’s a few weeks old and the cream has become something that your tongue should never have to see…
that has only happened once, which was more than enough incentive to begin labeling coffee cups. of course i could throw the old ones out but where’s the sport in that.
my man B.Wolf from ohio has officially opened the online store! he’s got a small t-shirt on it’s way as well as whatever else we can fit into the flat rate envelope! not to be out done, the french have also stepped up; Bastien and Ludovic have a few things heading over them though i’m not sure i can get international flat rate envelopes?
it rained the other night, alot. i tried to capture the incoming storm from the back door but this is all i got.
nemesis brad was kind enough to send over some coffee beans from norcal. he’s got some interesting parts that we’ll be working on shortly.
that’s andy pouring the water for the initial pot of bella bru, which saved us from another pot of the weird stuff. the story is that my brother gives me these coffee beans that someone else had given him. they sat in the cave for who knows how long, maybe they soaked up some cave grime or something? but in a moment of desperation we go for it and make a pot of coffee from these beans that turn out to be from 2004! (that’s what it says on the package) there were 3 of us that drank that coffee and the nest day we all had strange stories of the effects of that stuff. i didn’t sleep, literally all night. and tom had nightmares, andy had some side effects i’m sure but i can’t recall at the moment… moral of the story? i wish there was one…
