heat wave

summer time heat wave has prompted us to get creative with air temperature control around the shop. justin climbed his way up to the ceiling to inspect the gearbox of the “wall”, he determined that all it needed was some extra weight on in to lower the wall into place. thus sealing off the back portion and incidentally the hottest portion of the shop.
then some top secret air-conditioning re-routing had to be done and now the shop is not a bad place to be, with a decent temp…
electrician extraordinaire dave mcginnis sent over a pic of him and tammy atop pikes peak, while it’s 100 degree’s here he’s got a darn nice sweatshirt on, though i am curious what he’s holding in his hand?
though it has been hot i’ve been randomly riding the fixed gear to work with varying results. on the last endeavor i had to abort into a curb and over the bars to avoid entering an intersection that was full of moving vehicles, coming downhill with tiring legs, i couldn’t slow down fast enough or make a conclusive decision fast enough. thinking i could make it, realizing i couldn’t thinking i could veer left realizing that i couldn’t then just pointing it at the curb and hitting the eject button… luckily i took off those freakin’ clipless pedals…
