pedal v2.1…

February 19th, 2008  |  by Phil  |  Published in BMX NEWS, NEWS  |  9 Comments

here is the pedal in it’s final state. i changed a few details to the spindle, modified the body slightly and added some texture to the center of the body. i’ve got one pair on my bike and another for initial testing purposes. of course with the temperature in the 20’s not much testing is getting done… a few details: #6-32 slotted button head machine screws for the traction pins. including a small washer for adjustable pin height. i think these look cooler than socket head cap screws (the ones that take an allen wrench). and there is slightly more texture left from tool that creates the concave. that may just be something that i enjoy but i think it adds a certain visual value…
i think i’ll throw them on the fixed gear tonight and do some pedaling around to see how they “break in”.

we’re real stoked about getting these into the real world. and getting some feedback.
we’ll have a few sets down at the jomopro in joplin if anyone will be heading that direction.
